The Sevenoaks Debating Society was established in March 2024 as a forum for sincere (though not always serious) discussions of the issues of the day. We are a social club dedicated to debating, oratory, and discussion of all sorts.
We meet on the 3rd Monday of every month to debate, discuss, and to afterwards share a drink with each other.
If you want to dabble in some fresh ideas, come on down.
If you yearn to speak, listen, or heckle, this is the place for you.
If you wish there somewhere for big conversations without the embarrassment of ‘making things political’, then welcome home.

• Admission is free. Donations welcome on the night.
• Debates every 3rd Monday of each month. 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
• St John the Baptist Church Hall, Sevenoaks.
